Lee Clark would love to see Ravel Morrison go to the World Cup
Birmingham City boss Lee Clark says he had hoped that England boss Roy Hodgson might select Ravel Morrison to go to the World Cup this summer, but admits that it's unlikely that a Championship player will get the nod.
Clark poured praise on the West Ham United loanee after his match-winning performance for QPR in a 2-0 win at St Andrew's.
"Ravel can change games and I thought he was a class act against Birmingham," Clark said.
"I was hoping that he would continue doing it for West Ham because I would love to see him on that plane to Brazil. He would certainly be capable of doing something for England coming off the bench for ten minutes in any environment."
