Extra dates: The X Factor Van Auditions

Is the X factor coming to a location near you? If so, then come on down to meet and perform in front of the team. For these auditions, there is no need to register or apply in advance – Just bring a form of ID with you and all Under 18’s must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian.

Cheryl confirms X Factor exit: "I wish them all the best"

Cheryl has chosen to leave the show to focus on her music.

Cheryl has decided she will not be returning as a Judge for the next series of The X Factor.

The Girls Aloud star joined The X Factor in 2008. During her time on the show, she mentored two singers to victory - Alexandra Burke in 2008 and Joe McElderry in 2009. She left the show in 2010 before rejoining in 2014.

First look at Dermot filming for The X Factor

On Tuesday we revealed Dermot was making a dramatic return as host of The X Factor and we caught up with him while filming for the new series. The filming saw Dermot, meeting a group of school girls, playing football with some kids and giving one of his infamous ‘Dermot hugs’ to an unsuspecting bin man. Former contestant Wagner was even on hand to welcome him back!

The filming is to promote the start of the auditions which kick off on 7 April in Glasgow.

Dermot O’Leary returns as host of The X Factor

The UK’s most talked about entertainment show is back. And today we can announce that show veteran and award winning presenter Dermot O’Leary is set to make a triumphant return to The X Factor 2016.

Having previously hosted the show for eight years, Dermot will once again be at the helm of the nation's favourite singing show, deftly keeping the judges in check and offering support and hugs to this year’s budding hopefuls.
