4th Impact have revealed being in the quarter finals of this year’s X Factor is like “a huge miracle”, with the Filipino foursome also teasing their performances on this Saturday’s show.
Seeing as Almira, Mylene, Irene and Celina have made the Final 5, we caught up with Cheryl’s little dollies to find out more…
1. They miss Mason and Anton LOTS.
Revealing that last weekend’s eliminated acts Mason Noise and Anton Stephans were their “good friends”, the girls went on: “Mason and Anton were so nice to us. Anton even gave us a mug and coffee for our mum. And Mason never ignored us. He always gave us advice in terms of our performance, especially the diction in English.” Aww…
2. They are SO happy to finally be doing a ballad
After covering the likes of Beyoncé’s Work It Out and Girls Aloud’s Sound of the Underground, 4th Impact told us they are really happy that the public has chosen I’ll Be There by the Jackson 5 for them to perform on Saturday: “We’ve been waiting for this. Because from doing fierce, sassy and upbeat songs, we can now show our softer side, angelic voices and just sing our hearts out. We can show our complete other side and show our individuality vocal wise.”
3. Cheryl has picked an awesome mash-up for their second track
For the first time in the competition, the acts will be performing TWO songs, with 4th Impact stating they are "so excited" about their tunes. Revealing Chezza has chosen a mash-up of Iggy Azalea’s Fancy and Gwen Stefani’s Rich Girl as their second track, the girls added: “On this song, the viewers will see our individuality, just like what Simon asked. It’s more attitude and showing them our versatility as an artist.” Mr. Cowell will be pleased…
4. They want to perform one of Chezza’s songs with her!
Speaking fondly of their mentor, 4th Impact said that she’s a “genuine person with a huge heart” and that “she’s been a friend and a sister to us - that’s just priceless”. They added they’d love to perform with Cheryl on her hits Crazy Stupid Love and Fight For This Love because it would be “a moment they would never forget.” Come on Mrs. Fernandez-Versini, make it happen!
5. They can sing… but can’t swim!
When asked for something fans might not know about them, 4th Impact revealed that “none of us can swim in 6 feet pool”, before admitting that they love playing basketball as they can “just become kids" and enjoy "bonding" together. So if you ever wonder what the girls do in their spare time, there you have it!
6. They are HUGE Directioners
After meeting everyone from Little Mix to Fleur East on the show, the 4th Impact girls confessed to being the most starstruck by those handsome 1D boys, stating: “We are all starstruck with everyone we meet because it’s so unexpected but to answer this question, we can say that it’s One Direction! They are the world’s most famous group and it was amazing to finally meet them.”
You can watch more from 4th Impact when The X Factor returns to ITV this Saturday at 8pm!
