Scattered showers this evening dying out, then much of the night will be dry with clear periods, though it will remain rather windy. Thickening cloud will bring rain to some western areas towards morning, particularly over the Pennines.
Cloudy with outbreaks of rain, prolonged and at times heavy over Pennines, but lighter and more intermittent to the east. Mild with gusty southwesterly winds.
It will remain unsettled and very windy with clear or sunny intervals and scattered blustery showers. Turning cooler, perhaps with a touch of frost overnight Thursday night in shelter.
