Profession: This Morning presenter
Pop star most like to imitate: Elvis would be amazing. I am a big rock n’ roll fan, so Axl Rose would be great too
Pop star that most resembles personality: Robbie Williams. He doesn’t take himself too seriously, likes a laugh and runs around the stage. He is a great performer
Biggest fear: If I have to be a girl. I have dressed up as a girl before – but that was for a stag do with alcohol. I have got a husky voice and really hairy legs, which I don’t want to lose
Did you know that when Matt was younger he was in a boy band called 'Maxn'? They were the Welsh equivalent to The Monkees.
"It is like running around your living room thinking you are Axel Rose, for real, in front of millions of people! We will have a laugh."
Matt accepts that he has a good voice but is more concerned about insulting any music legends with his impersonations:
"I really don’t want to upset any amazing artists so I’m hoping I’m always given dead people, so they’ll never see me destroy their songs!"
Matt's charity: Mind
Mind is the leading mental health charity in England and Wales. They campaign to improve services, promote understanding and raise awareness of mental health, in local communities, in the media and in Parliament.
By bringing mental health into the open, they’re changing attitudes and breaking down stigma and discrimination.
Each year the 150 local Minds help over a quarter of a million people rebuild their lives, through services such as counselling, housing support and employment advice; and their helplines provide a listening ear and advise over 40,000 callers; whilst their publications and online information reach millions more.
