Women's Aid

Women's Aid (run in partnership with Refuge) is the national charity working to end domestic abuse against women and children. The federation of over 220 organisations provide more than 300 local lifesaving services to women and children across the country. The Male Survivors Partnership

The Male Survivors Partnership founded by Survivors Manchester, Safeline and Mankind, is a consortium of organisations across the UK that support boys and men affected by sexual violence.Call: 0808 800 5005. Sands

Sands support anyone who has been affected by the death of a baby, whether your baby died recently or long ago.

The Sands helpline hours are:

Monday – Friday 9.30am – 5.30pm, plus Tuesday and Thursday evenings between 7pm – 10pm

Cruse

Grief is a natural process, but it can be devastating. For those who need help, Cruse offers free confidential support for adults and children, and this can be by telephoneemail or face-to-face.Cruse Bereavement Care is there to support you after the death of someone close. If someone you know has died and you need to talk, call freephone on 0808 808 1677. The helpline is open Monday-Friday 9.30-5pm (excluding bank holidays), with extended hours on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, when they're open until 8pm.National Email support. Compassion In Dying

Compassion in Dying can help you prepare for the end of life. How to talk about it, plan for it, and record your wishes.We can support you to plan for your treatment and care, in case a time comes when you can’t make decisions. This helps you get the support that’s right for you, when you need it. When what matters most to you is known and recorded, it makes it easier for your family, friends and healthcare professionals to follow your wishes, giving everyone peace of mind. We help people through our free information line, publications and resources, and through our work with diverse communities. We specialise in supporting people to make Advance Decisions (‘Living Wills’) and to talk about their goals and priorities when living with a life-changing illness. The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is a charity dedicated to preventing male suicide, the single biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK.CALM’s free, anonymous and confidential helpline and webchat are open every single day between 5pm-midnight.
