Butcher returns to Motorbase

Reigning Independents’ Trophy Champion Rory Butcher will return to the Kwik Fit
British Touring Car Championship grid this season at wheel of a Motorbase
Performance Ford Focus.

The 32-year-old Scot made a huge impact in last season’s competition, taking fifth in
the overall standings. He claimed three outright wins and six podiums on his way to
the privateers’ trophy.

Butcher and Tordoff to race AmD Honda Civics

The Cobra Sport AmD with AutoAid/RCIB Insurance Racing team will go into its tenth season in the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship fully focused on challenging for top honours after confirming its driver line-up for the 2019 campaign.

The West Thurrock-based team will field a pair of race-winning Honda Civic Type Rs in the UK’s leading series next year and will head into the new season in better shape than ever before after concluding deals with two of the leading drivers on the grid.

Butcher completes MG line-up

Rory Butcher has signed with the AmD MG team for the 2018 season, joining Tom Boardman at the Essex-based squad.

It will be Butcher's first full season in the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship, have stepped into the Motorbase team to replace the injured Luke Davenport part-way through last year.
