Josh Cook will join BTC Racing for the 2019 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship.
The BTCC race winner, and former Jack Sears Trophy champion, will race for the Brackley-based team alongside Chris Smiley.
F1 and Le Mans star Mark Blundell is to make a dramatic return to racing, joining Trade Price Cars to compete in this year's Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship.
In a coup for the team, owned by the award-winning Essex-based motor dealership and run by technical partners AmD Tuning, Blundell has agreed terms on a deal that will see him make his touring car debut at the wheel of an Audi S3.
BTC Racing has announced the return of Chris Smiley to complete his third full year in the 2019 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship.
Establishing himself in 2018 as a regular top ten finisher, Chris showed strong pace as soon as he stepped into the Honda Civic Type R FK2 at the start of last season.
Despite limited track time, he competed hard all season achieving career highlights, including his first podium at Donington Park and first BTCC race win at Rockingham Motor Speedway in August.
Aiden Moffat and the Laser Tools Racing team will run in the 2019 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship without the support of the Ciceley Motorsport team that has prepared his Mercedes A-Class in recent years.
"We’ve broken ties with Ciceley Motorsport," says Moffatt, "but they have been a great assistance with the transition.
