Jayden and Sophie caught Sam out with their history and Harry Potter knowledge but he knew about the bird that Harriet quizzed him with.
Kids take the lead! 9-8
Maggie and Iris managed to outsmart the smartypants but Sam knew the answer to Zarah’s question - and couldn’t help but show off how many groups of animals he could name, we were very impressed!
8 all! 🎓
Sam got two of the three questions right, meaning he's caught up and it's now all to play for.
Thanks for the questions Olivia, Cuba and Aliyah - our smarty pants has been doing his homework! 📚
He’s catching up!!
Great questions this week from Tracey, Maisie and Blair but our smarty pants has been doing his homework! Kids still in the lead 8-7 but only by one point!
2 out of 3 ain’t bad!
Did you know he reads the dictionary every night before bed? No wonder he’s such a smarty pants! Thanks for the questions Princess, Alisha and Amari. Sam’s up on his sports knowledge and knows his Greek Gods but he didn’t know how many toilets were in Buckingham Palace!
3 out of 3 for smarty pants Sam!
Oh he’s getting smug now, 3 out of 3 for our smarty pants and he thinks you should be worried! We need lots of tricky questions and fast. Thanks to Kodwo, Noam and Orysia for the questions this week.
Hat trick for Sam!
Sam's like a phoenix rising from the ashes! He knew the answer to Elsie and Lauryn's popular entertainment questions, and he even guessed Zachy's brain buster. Is this a taste of what's to come in 2019? More tricky questions please.
Team Kids score a great eight
It was almost a clean sweep for Team Kids this week, but not quite because Sam knew the answer to Alexa's history question. Still, Laurel and Jaya manage to stump the brain box. Hahaha! Good work, Team Kids!
Sam's got his second wind!
Oooh, watch out, Team Kids! Sam is on your tail, metaphorically speaking. He knew the answers to two of the questions (thanks anyway, Daisy and Charlie!), but at least Miyian managed to stump him with her tricky geography brain buster. Harder questions, please!
Sam strikes back!
We were feeling a bit bad for Sam after all that flunking so it was almost a relief that he knew the answers to Niyoka's Bieber question and Efua's sport trivia. He was soooo close with Tyrii's Arctic history question too! Is our smarty pants making a comeback? He's still got a long way to go, but we think Team Kids need to watch their back!
At least Sam has one point 😬
Evie and Bill had really hard geography questions, while Abbie had some tricky animal trivia. Did Sam get them correct? Nope! At least he's not given up. Yet.
Team Kids are racing ahead
Team Kids, you are doing SO well! Sam knew Lauren's English literature question but not Jacob's geography brain-buster or Fifi's history trivia. The smarty pants needs to get revising if he ever wants to catch up.
Will Sam ever catch up?!
Sam knew Lauren's question about playing cards, but he didn't answer Olivia's footie brain-buster correctly, and he didn't know Luca's excellent geography trivia. Come on, Team Kids - what a lead! 👏
Go Team Kids!
Ooof, Sam might get a new nickname if he carries on like this. Rachel, Sidney and Ruby ALL managed to out-fox the presenter formerly known as brain box. Well done, Team Kids! 👏
Team Kids increase their lead!
Sam knew Austyn's geography question, but he totally flunked those given by Poppy and Olivia. The brain-box better get swotting before next week! Well done, Team Kids. 👏📚
Team Kids take the lead! 🙌
OUCH! Sam didn't answer ANY of this week's questions right, thanks to the tricky brain-busters from Anaya, Arwen and Femi. More tough ones like these, please!
Team Kids and Sam tie!
Smarty-pants Sam knew the answer to Sheldon's World Cup question, but he didn't get Sarah's psychology question right, OR Isobel's Harry Potter brain-buster. Well done, Team Kids! 👏
Sam takes the lead! 👨🎓
Sienna might've stumped Sam with her tricky marine biology question but the brain box knew too much about LEGO and human body parts to let Harriet and James outsmart him. 2-1 to Sam!
