Brian goes sweet for Fairytales Week

We challenge you to watch Brian's routine and not get a sugar craving, because he brought a whole load of candy to the ice in Week 5! And he even remembered to match his outfit to the backdrop. Now that's the kind of commitment we like to see!

Brian's skate is a Grand Slam!

Oh, Mandy! Brian skates to a Westlife classic

Romance was the name of the game for Brian's first routine, gliding onto the ice to one of his very own tunes - and, of course, it's an emosh one!

There were spins, twists and tender moments, not to mention one amazing dress from his pro partner Alex.

Brian McFadden

Popstar Brian McFadden is more comfortable behind a mic than in a pair of skates, but pretty soon he’ll be flying across the ice (without wings, of course!).

The 38-year-old singer and presenter is no stranger to the spotlight, having toured the world as part of boyband Westlife, forged a successful solo career and most recently fronted ITV’s Who’s Doing the Dishes?. So we know he can handle the pressures of showbiz, but he’s got one big worry when it comes to the ice.

“It’s got to be falling over,” he said. “I’m not worried about learning routines or doing it in front of people. The biggest fear is that I try to do something and I lose my feet, because if you fall down on the ice it’s not that easy to get back up.”

Let’s hope he doesn’t make a Fool (Again) of himself! Brian is paired with returning professional skater Alex Murphy, who made to the semi-final last year with Kem Cetinay. Can she glide all the way to the final with Brian this time?
