As a key part of the Leicester City side that pulled off the greatest shock in Premier League history by winning the 2016 title at odds of 5000-1, Kasper Scmeichel knows all about football miracles.

Growing up as the son of one of the most famous names in the game it was never going to be an easy decision to follow in his father's footsteps - but Kasper proved from an early age he was his own man- making the brave decision to leave Manchester City and drop down the leagues in search of playing time.

He found his place at Leicester and has experienced the incredible highs of that title win and the FA Cup triumph last May, but also the tragic low of the 2018 helicopter crash that devastated the football club and the whole city of Leicester.

On the international front Kasper has excelled and was a mainstay of the inspirational Danish team at Euro 2020 whose prompt actions helped save the life of team-mate Cristian Eriksen, when he suffered a cardiac arrest in their opening game.
