Brits check smartphones every 12 minutes
A fifth of British adults spends at least 40 hours per week online. A report by Ofcom found that most people check their phone every 12 minutes and expect a constant internet connection wherever they go.
According to the new report, in 2008 17 percent of people owned a smartphone - and that has now risen to 78 percent!
Over the next decade, smartphone technology is set to advance further, but experts are raising concerns that society will suffer if people stay glued to their phones.
