Call for adult rating for violent video games

Video games that depict explicit content such as torture and murder should have an "adult only" rating certificate in order to protect children, according to a report from a police commissioner.

According to research by Northamptonshire Police and Crime Commissioner, more than a quarter of children have accessed games they knew they were underage for. One in four have seen something online that upset them, with video games being the most common cause.
