Boris Johnson has put the country into lockdown to prevent further spread of the coronavirus - and warned it could take up to six months before life returns to normal.

Here's some advice on how you can stay well and what symptoms to look out for:

How to stay safe?

  • Avoid contact with sick people

  • Avoid touching your face without reason

  • Always wash your hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and hot water - or use a sanitizer gel

  • Use a tissue for coughs and sneezes, if you don't have a tissue and use your sleeve

  • Fever and tiredness

  • Breathing difficulties
