Counselling psychologist Sarah Jones on spotting signs and dealing with stress and anxiety

Sarah Jones is a chartered counselling psychologist and head of psychological wellbeing at Help for Heroes. She helped design their "Field Guide to Self Care" - a self help guide for NHS staff and carers to use to help them deal with stress and anxiety.

Everyone is going through stresses and anxieties surrounding this time and as part of our You Care, We Care campaign, we have created two videos, one about how to spot the signs of stress and the other is how to deal with any stress or anxiety you are experiencing.

The NHS offers support to its staff through different channels including NHS approved apps for mental health and digital 'staff common rooms' for peer to peer contact. The NHS advises all staff to visit to find the support that suits them best.
