Til debt do us part!

The average household debt has increased by almost a fifth since just before the financial crisis in 2007, according to a new report today.

The study by the Centre for Economics and Business Research also says the average age most of us will be debt free is now 69 and the average household has nearly £50,000 of debt, including a mortgage.

Ricky Willis, a father of three who managed to pay off his 30,000 worth of debt in two years, joins us on the GMB sofa to impart some wisdom.
