Is our high street wheelchair-friendly?

The reality is the attitude's still not right from an awful lot of people

Baroness Tanni-Grey Thompson

Wheelchair user Will Pike has gathered almost 47,000 signatures for better access for wheelchair users and made a film which has garnered more than one million viewers online.

Here in the UK, it seems the high street isn't quite as friendly as we might think it would be. Watch as Will makes his way around the city trying to get access to numerous establishments.

Baroness Tanni-Grey Thompson joined Will on the sofa and admitted: "The attitude is still not right from an awful lot of people. It's the attitude that needs a big shift and then the physical access comes from this."
