Mike Tindall says Whatsapp group with Harry and Meghan helps royals plan playdates
Mike Tindall says he hasn't had the chance to meet Baby Archie just yet.
Mike Tindall has confirmed he and wife Zara are part of a WhatsApp group with younger members of the royal family which helps them to organise events and decide whether they should bring the kids.
It was reported that Prince Harry and Meghan informed their family members about the birth of their first son, Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, through the group which also includes Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge.
Speaking to Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard, Mike revealed: "It's just so when you do try and set up something and get together, or if we are going to something that's the same - or if you are gonna go, are you gonna take the kids?"
He continued: "I think quite a lot of people have family WhatsApp groups so I don't think it's a new revelation."
Asked if he's had the chance to meet Prince Harry's newborn, Mike said: "No, we still haven't managed to get together yet. Everyone seems to think that we've all been round but it's just not that way is it?
"Hopefully, we will get to see him soon but it just doesn't work that way but at least he's happy and healthy and their happy so, that's all you can be for them."
Former rugby player Mike has been married to Zara since 2011, they have two kids together, Mia, five, and 11-month-old baby daughter Lena.
