Nick Clegg is facing fresh calls to quit after the Liberal Democrats' disastrous results in the local and European polls. A new survey suggests he could lose his own Sheffield Hallam seat in next year's general election.
Party activists are reported to be planning emergency meetings around the country to discuss his leadership. But Mr Clegg insists he won't resign and has vowed to finish the job.
