Phillip Schofield announces he is gay
ITV This Morning presenter, Phillip Schofield has announced he is gay.
In a statement posted on social media, Phillip paid tribute to his “incredible” wife of almost 27 years.
Phillip has been married to wife Stephanie Lowe for almost 27 years and they share two daughters, Molly and Ruby. The presenter explained how the “strength and support” of his wife and daughters helped him come to “terms with the fact” that he’s gay.
The 57-year-old's statement added: "Steph has been incredible - I love her so very much. She is the kindest soul I have ever met. My girls have been astonishing in their love, hugs and encouraging words of comfort." Watch the video below.
