Should girls be able to wear trousers to school?

It's being reported that parents across the country are challenging schools that are preventing their daughters from wearing trousers at school.

As families continue to fall foul of uniform guidelines across the UK - what do you make of this case? After so much press surrounding girls wearing skirts to school, are you surprised a school would insist on girls wearing trousers? Do you think it would make more sense for girls and boys to both wear trousers? Should girls be encouraged either way or perhaps the choice should be up to the individual and her parents? Has your child fallen foul of their school's uniform guidelines? We'd love to hear from you!
