Teens develop app that helps children seek help via their smartphone
Four teenage girls from Stockport designed an app to help young people suffering with their mental health for a college project - before a major charity contacted them to make their idea a reality!
NSPCC's For Me app allows children and young teens to discreetly speak to counsellors about their problems privately, whether they're suffering from bullying at school or abuse at home.
Evie, Emily, Olivia and Laura got the idea after seeing their peers suffering at school and recognised it's not so easy to seek help away from the eyes and ears of others.
We were joined by the girls, alongside ChildLine founder Esther Rantzen, to find out more.
