The 26 year disappearance of Lee Boxell
Lee Boxell was just a teenager when he went missing on September 10 1988 and to this day his parents have no idea what has happened to him.
The case so far:
15-year-old Lee Boxell went missing a quarter of a century ago somewhere between Sutton High Street and Selhurst Park football stadium.
The last known sighting of Lee was outside a Tesco on Sutton High Street at 2:20pm, making it unlikely he ever reached the football ground.
Police are working on the theory Lee intervened to stop peodaphilic activity at an unofficial youth club at St Dunstan's Church in Cheam, known as "the Shed".
William Lambert, the St Dunstan's Church graveyard digger who ran The Shed, was jailed for 11 years in 2011, aged 75, after sexually abusing four girls who attended the club.
Two men have been arrested in connection with the schoolboy's murder and have been bailed until March 2015.
His parents, Peter and Christine, have kept his room as Lee left it on the day he disappeared.
