The latest on Boris Johnson's fight against coronavirus

Number 10 have released the latest briefing on Boris Johnson's circumstances after being admitted to intensive care.

The Prime Minister was moved to ICU after his condition worsened and he was having problems with his breathing.

In the governments daily briefing, Rishi Sunak said the Prime Minister is 'responding to treatment' but he remains in intensive care.

According to a spokesman, Johnson has been stable overnight and remains in good spirits in St. Thomas' Hospital, breathing on his own.

He's receiving standard oxygen treatment and has not required a ventilator nor does he have pneumonia.

Number 10 confirmed that were Dominic Raab, who is deputising for Johnson, to fall in then the next person in the chain of command would be the Chancellor Rishi Sunak.
