Sir Elton John teamed up with the Taron to sing the movie's title hit.
Sir Elton John performed a passionate duet with Taron Egerton at the premiere of Rocketman at Cannes Film Festival on Thursday night.
The singer-songwriter and the 29-year-old actor, who plays him, sang an emotional rendition of the movie's title song, after revealing he was 'moved to tears' by the audience's standing ovation to the biopic movie.
Elton took to the piano while Taron took the lead on the microphone, and the pair sang together before hugging each other on stage.
The film has already received a positive reaction from critics and Cannes Festival film-goers, who praised he 'wonderfully acted' biopic.
Taron was also applauded for his 'absolutely brilliant' portrayal of Elton's rise to fame and his humble beginnings as Reginald Kennith Dwight.
Another video shared to social media sees director Dexter Fletcher, saying they were 'blown away' by the reaction, he said: 'Thank you for being an amazing audience, this is a big honour and thrill for us, we are all blown away by your fantastic reception and response, we love you, so thank you!'
