Kensington Palace has this morning announced that The Duke and Duchess of Sussex: Meghan and Harry are expecting a baby in Spring 2019.
A statement from the palace said: “Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public."
It added: "The Queen, Duke of Edinburgh, Prince of Wales, Duchess of Cornwall, and Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted for the couple and were able to congratulated them in Friday at the wedding in person."
The expectant couple are currently in Australia for their first royal tour together outside the UK.
The announcement follows months of baby speculation, which peaked on Friday at Windsor when they attended Princess Eugenie's wedding. Their 16-day tour of Australia includes 76 engagements and a visit to the Invictus Games.
