5 things we learnt on Day 11

Kate woke up in the middle of the night forgetting she was in the Jungle and a few crumpets sent cheers around the Camp. Here’s what we learnt on Day 11…

1. Kate talks in her sleep

Kate Garraway

Waking up in the middle of a nightmare at 12:34am probably won’t be one of Kate’s Jungle highlights.

During a disturbed night’s sleep, she woke up in total confusion at where she was and more importantly, where the rest of her Campmates had gone. Although they were obviously only a few feet away from her, in her sleepy state, she clearly thought they had vanished.

Reflecting on the bad night’s sleep the next morning in the Bush Telegraph, she said: “You know when you’re a little kid and for a minute you lose sight of your parents in a shop? I was dreaming about that and then woke up and didn’t know where I was. So I was very discombobulated.”

2. The boys pee in the shower

Kate Garraway

The topics that the Campmates choose to bond over just get weirder and weirder as the series goes on…

As king of the random questions, Roman asked the group whether they pee in the shower and openly admitted to the fact that he does.

Nadine, Andy and Myles were quick to back him in support but poor Kate was totally shocked by statements and couldn’t believe that so many of her Campmates would actually pee in the shower.

Roman explained the enjoyment of peeing in the shower saying: “Guys make a game out of it. You aim at the hole and if you’ve got a perfect aim, you’ve got a perfect score.”

3. Nadine and Andy are great communicators

Nadine Coyle

Despite their strong accents and the addition of weird alien noises, Nadine and Andy absolutely smashed their Dingo Dollar Challenge.

The pair were amazing communicators when it came to repeating the hilarious alien noises and Nadine was also super speedy at running across the wooden planks held high above the treetops. What a team!

4. The Campmates love crumpets

Adele Roberts

After successfully answering Kiosk Kev’s question correct, Andy and Nadine walked back into Camp with a quintessentially british afternoon snack.

The Celeb’s were over the moon when they laid their eyes on the winnings of crumpets and cheers were heard around the Camp.

Once his treat was devoured, James said: “Crumpets are just like the holy grail of afternoon snacks.” Truer words have never been spoken.

5. The Celeb’s were shocked to receive silkies for dinner

Jacqueline Jossa

The arrival of dinner last night didn’t put the biggest of smiles on everyone’s faces. The presence of the silkies threw everyone off - with Jacqueline and Roman convinced that the small chickens were actually dinosaurs.

Talking later in the Bush Telegraph, Jacqueline said: “They look disgusting! Their fully black, it’s not normal to eat! I’ve had camel, I’ve had crocodile toe.... I’ve had lots of different things. But that honestly looks like a baby t-rex.”
