5 things we learnt on Day 17

The Campmates visited the Jungle Arms and Myles realised he hadn’t showered since last week. Here’s what we learnt on Day 17...

1. Myles has given up on showering

Myles Stephenson

We understand that personal hygiene standards take a bit of a dip in the Jungle, but to outrightly stop showering for four days in next level…

After catching a whiff of himself in the morning, Myles did the maths to figure out when exactly was the last time he had a shower. It took him a few moments to work it out, but it turns out he hadn’t washed since the Camp was Cursed FOUR days ago!

We think Ian summed it up perfectly when he said: “Your bottom must smell like an atom bomb. I don’t even want to talk to you.”

2. The boys have invented a new game

Roman Kemp

In an attempt to keep themselves entertained, the boys have invented yet another Jungle game. After Caitlyn cleverly fashioned them a small ball with items from the medical box, Ian, Myles, Roman and James began playing Face Ball - a simple game where they take it in turns to throw a ball at each other’s face. Fun.

The game stepped up a notch after a few rounds however as Face Ball evolved into Nut Ball, where you guessed it, the target was now in between each other’s legs.

Nadine commented on the groundbreaking game in the Bush Telegraph saying: “There’s a lot of testosterone flying around here…”

3. Caitlyn doesn’t know any Kanye West songs

Caitlyn Jenner

During last night’s hilarious panto, Critter-ella’s fairy godmother Caitlyn put on quite the show until she was asked to perform one of Kanye West’s songs.

When the panto narrator (Kate) requested for Caitlyn to sing her favourite song written her son-in-law Kanye West, Caitlyn replied: “Unfortunately I don’t know any Kanye West songs.”

  • Andy loves Mr. Brightside

The Campmates were thrilled when they got to the legendary Jungle Arms, but one Celeb in particular was extra excited.

It didn’t take Andy long to clock the karaoke machine or the fact it had one of his favourite songs - Mr.Brightside by The Killers. Unsurprisingly, Andy offered to start the singing and jumped up on stage to perform the song - and what a stellar job he did too!

Recalling the performance in the Bush Telegraph, Nadine said: “Andy’s brilliant. He just constantly surprises you. He got straight up there and he kicked the party off in style.”

5. Roman doesn’t know the lyrics to Spandau Ballet

Roman Kemp

From Caitlyn having no clue of any Kanye West songs to Roman Kemp not knowing the lyrics to Gold by Spandau Ballet. You just can’t make this stuff up!

Despite the fact that he needed a copy of the lyrics to his dad’s band, Roman absolutely smashed the performance. Jacqueline said: “I loved Roman’s rendition of Gold. It was absolutely amazing, I was like his biggest fan up there dancing. It was just brilliant.”

Kate agreed saying: “Roman doing his dad’s song Gold was hilarious. Not least because he didn’t know the words of his own dad’s song. I mean, have a word, Martin!”
