5 things we learnt on Day 16
Nadine won 10 stars for Camp and a new leader took the throne from Caitlyn! Here’s what we learnt on Day 16 in the Jungle...
1. Myles has slept with someone older than Kate Garraway
We love it when a cheeky conversation comes up in Camp! Whilst chilling around the gas fire, Jacqueline asked Myles (or ‘Milo’ as she likes to call him), what’s the oldest he would go when it comes to sleeping with someone.
Not only did Myles playfully reply that he’d sleep with Kate Garraway, he also revealed that he’s slept with women much older than her...
Nadine couldn’t believe her ears and her dropped jaw showed it! Pondering over the chat in the Bush Telegraph later she said: “Myles! As if butter wouldn't melt in his mouth! He is a dark horse, I am shocked!”
2. Jacqueline and Nadine fancy Ant and Dec
With so few faces to look at in the Jungle, it’s not surprising that the girls’ attention has started to fall on our very own Ant and Dec.
It turns out Nadine and Jacqueline have started to form quite the soft spot for them - but luckily they don’t fancy the same guy! When explaining why she picked Dec, Nadine said: “I think he just seems really cheeky. There’s something just cute and cheeky about him.”
And Jacqueline? She’s more of an Ant girl but sounded full of love for the pair of them to be honest! In the Bush Telegraph she said: “Ant and Dec! They’re a bit of alright actually! I think they’re funny… They smell good… And actually as they get older, they look even better!”
3. Ian would have liked to be a doctor
Roman asked his fellow Campmates what jobs they would have loved to do if they had gone down a different career path and the answers were very unexpected!
James fancied himself as a superstar DJ, Ian would have loved to be a doctor and random question master Roman liked the idea of flying off into space as an astronaut.
The most surprising answer of all? Once cliff (finally) woke up, he revealed that he’d like to be President of the United States! He said: “I’d be a very good president. If someone upset me, I’d paint their house rainbow colours.”
4. Geography isn’t Caitlyn and Andy’s strong point
Caitlyn and Andy might be great at leading the Camp, but correctly identifying locations? Not so much…
During their Dingo Dollar Challenge, one of the tickets that popped out of the bag scanner was for Canberra - the capital of Australia. The abbreviation however (CAN) completely threw the pair off and instead they thought the owner of the bag was destined for Canada..
Eventually the penny dropped and Andy realised that Canberra is actually the capital of the country they’ve been living in the last few weeks. Let’s hope they don’t have to direct their Campmates anywhere in the near future…
5. A teacher at school inspired Ian to change his life
While discussing the people in their lives that have inspired and supported them the most, Ian told the tale of his primary school teacher who pulled him aside one day and gave him the advice and care that he didn’t know he needed.
Emotionally recalling the conversation to the Campmates, Ian said: “If it wasn’t for him, I know I wouldn’t be where I am, I know it.”
