Episode six preview: Party plates

It’s party time in John and Lisa’s Weekend kitchen where they have the perfect crowd pleasing menu.

John starts with his favourite Vol-au-Vent and there’s a Baked Camembert with Cheese Straws.

Lisa makes her classic Mince Pies (with three different toppings) and there’s a whole host of hints, tips and tricks on how to add a bit of sparkle to some ready made favourites.

Episode five preview: Winter warmers

Join John and Lisa in their Weekend Kitchen where they are starting to feel festive with some Winter Warmers. Lisa begins with a beautiful Blue Cheese and Butternut Squash pie followed by John’s sumptuous Sausage Casserole. There’s also a family favourite - Macaroni Cheese (with a twist) and, for dessert, it’s a classic Ginger Cake served two ways.

Episode four preview: Coast and country

John and Lisa are celebrating the best of Coast and Country cuisine in their Weekend Kitchen. Lisa starts with a gorgeous Fish Pie that’s ready in no time. John has a masterclass in making the perfect Roast Beef, with Lisa’s Yorkshire Pudding. There’s also a classic Meatloaf with a modern twist and a warming Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert.

Episode three preview: French Bistro

There's a French Bistro feel in John and Lisa's Weekend Kitchen this week. Kicking off with Lisa's French Onion Soup followed by Mussels and Fries. Later John has a classic Minute Steak with some sumptuous sides and they round things off with a gorgeous twist on a Crème Brûlée.

Episode 2 preview: One Pot Wonders

It's a week of One Pot Wonders in John and Lisa's Weekend Kitchen. Simple, sumptuous recipes that can all be made in one dish.

John starts with a delicious Pork and Chorizo Stew, followed by his legendary One Pot Rice.

And Lisa is making a beautiful Coq au Vin Blanc finishing with a hearty Apple and Blackberry Cobbler for dessert.

Episode 1 preview: Spice and Easy

John and Lisa are back in their Weekend Kitchen, warming up for Autumn with recipes that pack a punch. On the menu - a delicious traditional Kedgeree for breakfast, a family favourite veggie Katsu Curry, Spiced Lamb Cutlets with potatoes and a beautiful Coconut and Mango Rice Pudding for dessert.

John & Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen returns

Popular ITV food programme John & Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen returns for a third series with 10 weekly hour-long episodes each Sunday morning.

Professional chef John Torode and home cook Lisa Faulkner invite viewers into their cosy kitchen, sharing their inspiring ideas and simple yet effective cooking techniques to create dishes which anyone can cook and everyone can share.

Each weekly episode will be themed, including four Christmas and New Year-themed episodes. John and Lisa team up in the kitchen each week to share recipes and many of them are inspired by their own family traditions.

Episode 9 preview: Bread & baking

This week it’s all about baking in John and Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen - starting with everyone’s favourite staple - bread. Lisa will be making an easy soda bread served with creamy mushrooms followed by ham and cheese soldiers that everyone in the family will love. There’s also a stuffed naan and coconut and banana loaf that’s perfect for breakfast.

Later, The Great British Bake Off winner John Whaite will be joining the couple and giving them a masterclass in cupcakes, crumble cake and mirror glazing.
