The perfect pick-me-up after a heavy dinner! The espresso martini is a sophisticated cocktail to share with your friends.
Prep: 5 minutes
Lots of crushed ice3 shots of espresso coffee50ml sugar syrup50ml vodka50ml vermouth100ml coffee liqueur (Kahlua)A few coffee beans to decorate
Place the ice in a cafetiere or cocktail shaker.
Pour in the espresso coffee, sugar syrup (see tip) vodka, vermouth and coffee liqueur. Plunge a few times if using a cafetiere or shake vigorously if using a cocktail shaker.
Pour into glasses (preferably martini glasses) and top with coffee beans. Serve.
