Coleen emotionally discusses her sisters' cancer diagnoses and her decision to consider a mastectomy
Coleen told the Loose Women that the Nolan family was rallying together to support her sisters, Linda and Anne, who recently revealed that they were having chemotherapy after both being diagnosed with cancer.
Speaking to Andrea, Denise and Judi from her home, she became very emotional as she discussed how her sisters were coping.
"It's very difficult for me to sit at home and cry and feel sorry for myself when I see them being so stoic and still laughing," Coleen said. "Obviously they have terrible days when they are incredibly ill and it’s really hard because I just can't go and see them."
Coleen also explained that she's now investigating whether or not she should have preventative surgery and will genuinely consider having a double mastectomy if a medical professional suggests it could be a good idea.
"I really have been really happy and I'm not going to let cancer ruin that," she said.
