Denise Welch

Denise Welch has been keeping Loose Women fans in fits of laughter since her debut on the panel in 2005.

Before Loose Denise was probably best known for her numerous TV roles. She pulled pints in the Rovers as Coronation Street landlady Natalie Barnes and had roles in Waterloo Road and Solider Soldier, to name but a few.

Denise strapped on her skates for the sixth series of Dancing on Ice and even went on to win the ninth series of Celebrity Big Brother.

She's spoken openly about her experience of depression and is an impassioned campaigner for awareness around mental health issues. In 2020 she will release a book about her struggles, The Unwelcome Visitor.

Denise is married to artist Lincoln Townley and is a proud mum to her two sons, Matt – the lead singer of internationally acclaimed band The 1975 – and Emmerdale actor Louis.
