Here's how Loose Women's new shows will work

Loose Women returns to TV screens with new episodes from Monday 4th May at 12.30pm but as the panellists return to studio you might notice things are a little different.

We've made a few important adjustments and here's what you need to know.

When the women return they'll be broadcasting from a new studio and there will be strict social distancing measures in place. Three women will sit on an extended panel in studio and they'll all be two metres apart.

Of course, we'll still have a fourth panellist, but they'll be joining us via video link.

The first live show, on Monday 4th May, will see Andrea McLean, Brenda Edwards and Nadia Sawalha in studio on the panel with Coleen Nolan joining via video-link. Ruth Langsford, Linda Robson, Jane Moore and Saira Khan (via video link) will be among the women on the panel for new shows later in the week.

There will also be some pre-recorded shows across the week, in addition to the live shows on Mondays and Wednesdays, to limit the footfall at the studios.

"I'm so excited the show is back in the studio. I've really missed our chats and debates," Coleen, who'll join via video link, said. "And although we won't have our lovely live audience there for a little while longer, we promise to still make them smile at home."

"I can’t wait to get back to work, get back into the studio and give our lovely viewers some much-needed love and laughter at lunchtime; it's what we Loose Women do best," Andrea added.

"We can't wait to share all that’s been going on with the audience as they have always been the fifth loose woman," Nadia explained. "We've shared everything over the last twenty years, so it's only right and proper that we share now at one of the most difficult times in recent history. Missed you girls!"

And Brenda's even written a song to mark the occasion.
