Joanna Lumley talks feeling absolutely fabulous in her 70s and reveals how Patsy would cope in lockdown
Joanna Lumley told the Loose Women that she's feeling absolutely fabulous in her 70s as she joined them from her home to talk about life in lockdown and the impact coronavirus has had on the UK theatre industry.
Speaking after the women had been discussing the reopening of hair salons, she said that she's not too worried about her roots because she's been doing her own hair since she was a model in the 1960s.
"I've always done my own hair. It's partly because I kind of can do it. I was a model in the 60s; we had to do our own hair then, we had to sort it, do it, put on wigs, cut it, change it, dye it... so I got used to doing my own hair. I just go down to the supermarket and buy stuff off the shelves and stick it on," she explained.
Joanna also revealed how she thinks her Absolutely Fabulous alter ego, Patsy Stone, would be coping in lockdown and shared her thoughts on a potential reunion with Jennifer Saunders.
