Loose Women's Non-Visible Disability Special
On Friday 24th November, Loose Women hosted their first ever non-visible disability panel, to tackle the stigmas surrounding non-visible disabilities and shine an important spotlight on the challenges faced by the one in seven neurodivergent people in the UK.
Like 10 million other people in the UK living with non-visible disabilities, guest panellist Christine McGuinness, Nadia Sawalha, Denise Welch and Judi Love are all living with lifelong conditions - including autism, ADHD or dyslexia.
During the show, Christine opened up about her own autism diagnosis and her experience raising three autistic children.
One year on from exclusively sharing her ADHD diagnosis journey on Loose Women, Nadia also gave an update on what receiving the life changing news has meant for her. Denise discussed the impact of receiving a later-in-life ADHD diagnosis and Judi spoke openly about the challenges she faced growing up with dyslexia.
