'I need to be that example': Mark Wright, Olly Murs and Marvin Humes reveal what being a man means to them

Mark Wright, Olly Murs and Marvin Humes left Andrea, Stacey and Judi feeling very moved as they opened up about what being a man means to them in a candid Loose Women & Men chat.

When asked for three words they'd use to describe a man, the trio all opted for 'protective' and Marvin explained why he felt it important to set an example of what a good partner should be for his daughters.

Mark told Olly and Marvin that he was touched when his wife, Michelle, took on the role of the protector when he'd been ill or tired in the past, by rubbing his back or checking in to make sure he was OK.

"When you see your wife do it, there’s something about it that means a little bit more, I don’t know why," he said.

"I think men are becoming better listeners," Olly said. "I feel I can have better conversations with men now and they’re open to have a chat," he admitted.

And Marvin told the Loose Men why he believed it was more important than ever for them to sit down as men and have such open and honest discussions.

"If you guys are representing where men are going in the future I think we’re in really good hands," Andrea said. But don't just take her word for it - watch the beautiful chat in the video above and see for yourself.
