Ben Fogle's wife Marina opens up about her stillborn pregnancy
There's not a day that goes by that we don't think about him
– Marina Fogle opens up about her own stillbirth pregnancy
Marina Fogle has opened up about the pain of her own stillbirth pregnancy as she urges women to sleep on their sides in their third trimester after new research found the sleeping position could reduce the risk of stillbirth and save 130 babies' lives every year.
National pregnancy charity Tommys has launched the #sleeponside campaign which stresses the importance of sleep position during late pregnancy.
The campaign is particularly close to Marina's heart.
In August 2014, Marina and Ben Fogle's third child - a boy they named Willem - was stillborn at 33 weeks.
Although Marina's sleeping position had nothing to do with her painful loss, she wants to try and help other woman avoid going through the hurt she did.
She says the agony of walking out of a maternity ward without a baby and going home to a house with a nursery where her baby would never sleep is indescribable.
Marina says there isn't a day that goes by that she doesn't think about Willem and will do as much as she can to help further medical research into stillbirths.
