It's a great opportunity to be here and share my work with the UK people
– Vincent Niclo on his first English album
French heartthrob singer Vincent Niclo has sold over one million albums, collaborated with Placido Domingo and Il Divo, and now he is heading to UK shores with his first English language album.
Vincent's debut British Album, The French Romantic Ballader, is set to be released on 4 March 2016. This is Vincent's fourth solo album, but his first album in English. He's been making hearts flutter while starring in the French version of Strictly Come Dancing, and even global singing sensation Celine Dion confessed to being one of Vincent's biggest fans.
Vincent said of Celine, "She is a super star with a big heart. She has been so nice to me."
Vincent said it has been his dream to produce an English album since he was a child.
Despite Sinatra and the Rat Pack being a big influence on Vincent to sing in English, the album he is planning to release in the UK has a classical pop sound. The album itself will feature songs that were originally French but gained fame with English singers, including 'She', which was made famous by Elvis Costello.
