Fatboy Slim will tonight become the first DJ ever to perform at the House of Commons.

Fatboy, real name Norman Cook, will play as warm-up to the winner of a national DJ-ing competition, won by 22-year-old student, Bryce Fury.

The Right Here, Right Now star said:

I've played some exciting and unique places around the world, from Bondi Beach to the Great Wall of China to an igloo, but playing in the House of Commons might be the most unique to date.

Fatboy will perform as the support act for Mr Fury, who won the competition House The House, in aid of the Last Night A DJ Saved My Life Foundation.

An electrical engineering student, from Corby in Northamptonshire, whose real name is Bryce Moore, the budding DJ said it will be "daunting" to meet Fatboy Slim.

He said:

This is a massive opportunity for me, to meet so many important people. I wouldn't be complaining if I ended up DJ-ing full time, I've done quite a bit of it in Newcastle.

Mr Fury was named the winner of the competition after 10 regional heats, competing against 80 other contenders.
