Replacement body parts can now be printed to order and they are getting more and more sophisticated with the help of 3D printers.

Experts are predicting the technology could help to create limbs and even organs in the future, reducing the need for organ donation.

Among the exhibits at The 3D Printshow 2013 in London is an ear constructed with real cells from a 3D printer. And even more impressive - with the aid of an antenna, it can actually hear.

The technology is thought to be at least five years away from being fitted to a person.

And using 3D printers and stem cells to create organs are also in development.
