Fight breaks out between Jordanian journalists during live TV debate on Syria

Saker al-Johari and Mohammad al-Jayousi became embroiled in a desk duel.

A televised debate between two Jordanian journalists broke into a fight today as they argued over the Syrian crisis.

Saker al-Johari and Mohammad al-Jayousi were appearing as guests on the Seven Stars TV show when their discussion became heated.

The two men picked up the desk that lay between them and began pushing it at each other. When the desk fell apart, they continued jostling with the desk top until al-Johari kicked out at his rival.

Al-Jayousi had accused al-Johari of supporting the Syrian revolution and was in turn accused of backing Syrian President Bashar Assad in exchange for money.
