Butterfly lands on flutist's face - but she keeps calm and carries on

Nothing could distract flutist Yukie Ota during her performance at the Carl Nielsen International Flute Competition in Denmark - not even a butterfly which decided to land on her face.

The Japanese musician kept calm and carried on while the insect, which obviously wanted a front row seat, fluttered around her forehead and nose as she played.

But luckily she saw the funny side and smiled as she swatted it off as she finished her recital of Sancan's 'Sonatine for flute and piano'.
