Police have expressed concern for a missing 13-year-old girl who was last seen on Saturday.
Amber Peat went missing from her home in Mansfield at around 5.30pm on Saturday.
Her father Danny Peat described her disappearance as completely out of character.
Nottinghamshire Police said officers had been carrying out searches of the local area, in the hope the teenager is still in Mansfield.
Mr Peat is quoted by the BBC as saying: "She's a real home girl. She doesn't go out - all she wants to do is read a book. She would read 24 hours a day if you let her.
"It's got to the stage now... we are just petrified."
Amber is described as white with long dark brown hair. She is 4ft tall, with brown eyes and a small scar above her lip.
The teenager was last seen wearing a black Puma zip up top, purple trainers and blue jeans.
