A man in Wales has merged perhaps two of the greatest foodstuffs in existence to create the meaty marvel known as a dausage.
That is; a classic sausage filled with oozing jam.
Inspired by the current success of the Duffin and Cronut, 37-year-old Liam Bennett from Wales decided to merge the jammy middle of a doughnut with the savoury flavour of a sausage to create his own remarkable handmade hybrid.
I began with pork with strawberry and Cumberland with raspberry, and, contrary to many other people’s expectations, they worked really well together.
The flavours he has been working on so far include:

Pork and Beef with Custard
Pork and Leek and Blackcurrant Jam
Chicken with Raspberry
Venison with Strawberry Custard
Vegetarian with Primula
Liam told ITV News that he is carrying out taste tests and across the UK and has had some interest from retailers.
