The Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras has said the International Monetary Fund has "criminal responsibility" for the crisis in the country.

The possibility of Greece leaving the Euro appears to have moved a step closer with little immediate prospect of a deal between the country and its creditors.

The President of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker, said last night that Athens was misleading voters on the bailout proposals.

Months of negotiations broke down on Sunday.

A deal needs to be reached between Greece and the IMF before the end of the month if it is to avoid defaulting on a 1.6 billion euro repayment.
