A four-year-old boy got the best Christmas present ever - when he was reunited with his missing dog.
Little William Falango was left heartbroken when his pet terrier Freddie ran off from their Somerset home two months ago.
But amazingly someone spotted the dog 70 miles away in Bournemouth after the family set up an online appeal.
Freddie was taken to the vets who scanned his microchip and returned him to his owners - much to William's delight.
And he had a big hug for Freddie when the pair were finally back together.
The family said Freddie ran off after hearing loud bangs after Bonfire Night.
William's grandmother Jane Patterson said: "William thinks Freddie has been on a very, very long walk.
"He had been asking me only the day before he turned up when Freddie was coming home.
"'He must be very tired now, Granny,' he said - so it's a very happy ending for everyone."
"Quite how he managed to travel over 70 miles and be in such good condition, we shall probably never know."
