Police call about screams turned out to be family watching 'The Walking Dead'

Concerns over screams and shouts about "someone having a gun" had police rushing to a home - only to discover the family inside were watching "The Walking Dead".

Police were reportedly called to the property in Montana, USA, by concerned neighbours who thought someone was in danger.

But according to the Great Fall Tribune, when officers arrived at the home on Sunday evening they found the family enjoying their favourite TV show.

Sergeant Brian McGraw told the paper that officers surrounded the property, before reportedly hearing "loud talking" and seeing "flashing lights" inside.

Two adults and several children were inside, watching "a show about firearms", which police later discovered was the midseason premiere of “The Walking Dead".
