A cat and its family that were separated as they fled Mosul in Iraq have been reunited - 2,000 miles away in Norway.
The Al-Alaf family walked for three days to Turkey to escape so-called Islamic State with Kunkush the male cat in a basket before taking a boat across the Aegean Sea.
But when the family-of-six reached Greek shores on the island of Lesbos in late October Kunkush slipped out of his basket.
While the Al-Alafs reached Norway, Kunkush was picked up by a German animal rights organisation who took care of him in Berlin.
Following an internet search the cat and his tearful family were reunited in Steinkjaer, Norway.
