Newlyweds Rupert Murdoch and Jerry Hall are set to hold a private ceremony of celebration, a day after officially tying the knot in London.

Former supermodel Hall and the media mogul will hold the ceremony in St Bride's Church on Fleet Street, which proclaims itself the "spiritual home of the media".

I know Mr Murdoch is a very big fan of St Bride's and has been since his father cut his teeth on Fleet Street 60 years ago, so we are delighted to hold it here. His father led him to England and St Bride's has always been part of Fleet Street and the journalistic industry. Mr Murdoch has always had a lot of time and love for this place so we are delighted he is having a service of celebration here. >

The church, which has space for 150 to 200 guests, will be closed to the public for the day.

The 84-year-old Australian wed the 59-year-old Texan in central London yesterday during a civil service at Spencer House.
